Lois F. Walls

Lois F. Walls, 87, of Jacksonville, FL, went to be with her Lord on March 19, 2023.

She was born April 17, 1935, in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Bulan C & Susie (Rich) Bradbury. After her mother's death, she was raised by her dearly beloved aunt Nancy (Nanny) Bradbury, all of whom preceded her in death.

She married Carol G. Walls on February 12, 1954, and spent 28.5 happy years together before his passing on August 12, 1982. She was also preceded by her son, Robert E. Walls; by her grandson, Robert E. Walls, Jr; by her brothers, John (Jack) Bradbury and George Bradbury; by her sisters, Margaret Patton, Alice Laurabelle Osborne; and twin sisters in infancy.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Ernest Meadows, by her sisters, Mary Southard and Nancy Banning; by her grandchildren, Mark & Tammy Meadows, Michael & Dawn TenBroeck, Timothy & Christina Meadows, Joy & Charlie Phillips, Adam Walls, Brian Walls; as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews who will all miss "Gigi" or Aunt Lois.

She will also be missed by anyone who loved and knew her, which includes her Mandarin Baptist Church family, which she joined upon moving to Jacksonville, FL in 1974.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27th, at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will immediately follow and be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. During the service, family and friends will be given the opportunity to publicly share their memories of this dear woman. Memorial contributions may be made to the" Leukemia Foundation" or "Bradbury Cemetery", with envelopes available at the funeral home.
