Lloyd Allen Schaefer

Lloyd Allen Schaefer, 79, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, IL. He was born September 15, 1931 in Clark County, IL, the son of Aaron Schaefer and Nina Simms Schaefer. He was a member of the Robinson Elks Lodge #1188 and a former member of the Robinson Moose Lodge.Lloyd married Nan Billings on July 27, 1951 and she survives. He is also survived by his 4 children and their spouses, Marcia and Mark Phillippe, Scottsboro, AL, Vickie and Tom McDonald, Parkland, FL, Cathy and Howard Harris, Highland Ranch, CO, Michael and Lisa Schaefer, Hutsonville, IL; 8 grandchildren; one great grandchild; several cousins, and special sister-in-law, Ann Sieg, Robinson.He was preceded in death by his parents;Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9th at 4:00 p.m. a the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, Rev. Tom Akers is in charge of services. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer€™s Association with envelopes at the funeral home.
