Lisa Fitzsimmons

Lisa Fitzsimmons, 49, of Hutsonville, IL, died March 31, 2020, at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL. She was born September 30, 1970, in Paris, IL, the daughter of Fred Fitzsimmons & Edith Pauline (Brady) Fitzsimmons. She grew up in Paris and though she worked for a number of area businesses, her heart was firmly planted at home. That's not to say that she didn't get out much! On the contrary, Lisa spent countless hours fishing and camping along the river, and this was a great source of joy in her life, as were the many friends that had the good pleasure of knowing her. They could attest to the fact that with Lisa, what you saw was what you got, and what you got was a goofy, down to earth soul that will never be forgotten. She is survived by her son, Stevie William Goodwin, Jr. (Hutsonville, IL); by her father, Fred Fitzsimmons (West York, IL); by her brother, Billy Ray Fitzsimmons (West York, IL); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Fitzsimmons. Lisa deserves a memorable tribute. However, in this uncertain time, the family and the staff of the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union understand that attending such a service may not be in your best health interest. With this in mind, a memorial service will be set for a later date.
