Linda Carole (Jordan) Haraburda

On Friday, December 9th, 2022, at the age of 80, the heavenly clouds parted, and Linda Haraburda went to be with Jesus.

Linda was born November 18th, 1942, in Robinson, Illinois, to Bernice and Joseph Jordan. Linda was the oldest of six siblings, Kathy Miller, Roberta Jordan Cochara, Teresa Isabell, Donna Jordan, Stanley Dunlap, and Victoria Jordan Wojtas.

Linda worked for the United States Postal Service from September 1970 and retired in July 2001. She was a member of Countryside Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas.

On December 28th, 1958, Linda married Jack Neal Carver. Linda and Jack were blessed with two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Carver, and Susan Elaine Carver.

Linda is survived by her children Cheryl Toms, and Susan Finke. Linda leaves her legacy to five grandchildren: Gary Thornton, Joshua Jacobs, Christopher Thornton, Jennifer Morris, and Ashleigh Gatlin, along with six great-grandchildren Emily Jacobs, Joanna Morris, Olivia Morris, Avery Gatlin, Levi Thornton, and Asa Gatlin.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Tohill Cemetery (rural Flat Rock, IL), with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating. During the service, family and friends will be given the opportunity to share their memories of this dear woman. The family has asked that contributions be made to the "COPD Foundation", and envelopes will be available at the cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of these arrangements.
