Kenneth Lee Skaggs, Sr.

Kenneth Lee Skaggs, Sr., 65, of Robinson died at 10:58 a.m. on October 14, 2010 at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1945, the son of Carl Skaggs and Stella Elizabeth Tucker Skaggs. Kenneth worked for Marathon for 37 years as a welder and was a member of the Robinson Masonic Lodge #250 and the Robinson Elks Lodge #1188. He was also a past member of the Moose Lodge. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, was a member of the Robinson VFW #4549, and the Robinson American Legion Post #69.He married Joyce Woods in 1968 and they were married for 27 years. Other survivors include his son, Kenneth L Skaggs, Jr. and his significant other, Virginia Smith, Robinson; his daughter and daughter-in-law Amy L. and Amanda Skaggs, Belleville; his grandchild, Madison, Belleville; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Gayle Skaggs, Robinson, and Jerry and Yvonne Skaggs, Grafton, IN; his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Mike Richey, Robinson, and Norma and Nolen Reinbold, Robinson; as well as several cousins, nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews.A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Robinson New Cemetery following a 12:00-2:00 p.m. visitation at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson.
