Kathryn I. Wampler

Kathryn I. Wampler, 85 of Robinson, died at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Home at 5:54 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011. She was born July 14, 1926 in New Lebanon, IN, the daughter of George Gullett and Goldie Hanley Gullett.Kathryn married Junior Wampler on February 19, 1949 and he preceded her in death on January 25, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Billy Wampler; and her brother, Bob Gullett. She is survived by 2 daughters, Phyllis Serwatka, Fairmont City, IL, Janice Wampler, Robinson; her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Richard Dedrick, Robinson; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Ronda Gullett, Robinson, Byron and Judy Gullett, Robinson; 2 sisters-in-law, Carolyn Gullett, Robinson and Martha L. Wampler, Robinson; 2 granddaughters, Andrea Serwatka, Fairmont City, IL and Alicia Wortman and her husband Evan, Denver, CO; her great granddaughter, Libby Dawn; and several nieces and nephews. Kathryn€™s care and concern for her family was never ending.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11th at the Robinson New Cemetery with her brother Byron Gullett officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10th and from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral home.
