Joyce L. Brown Hanson, 50, of Dale, IN, formerly of Marshall, IL, died at 10:15 a.m. (E.S.T.) January 3, 2011 at the Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. She was born October 30, 1960 in Arkansas City, KS, the daughter of Lloyd Brown and Virginia Allen Brown. She was a truck driver for Burris Trucking and attended the Church of Nazarene, Marshall, IL.Joyce is survived by her father, Lloyd Brown, Effingham, IL; her mother, Virginia Brown, Tulsa, OK; her daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Shane Dunlap, Cincinnati, OH; her step daughter and her husband, Angel and Brian Goble, Marshall; 2 grandchildren, Olivia and Vivian Dunlap; 2 step grandchildren, Bradyn Budde and Breah Keim; her sister, Janice Brown, Tulsa OK; her half brother, Shane Brown, Casey, IL; and her niece, Christina Mize. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mark and Alan Brown; and her step-mother, Hazel Brown.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union, IL. Burial will be in the Walnut Prairie Cemetery, rural West Union. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6th preceding the services at the funeral home.
