John David Osborn

David Osborn, 68, of LaPorte, IN, died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Asta Care Center, Bloomington, IL. He was born September 18, 1940 in Oblong Township, IL, the son of John D. Osborn and Vivian Benjamin. He is survived by 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Nancy Osborn, Robinson, Jim and Thelma Osborn, LaPorte, IN, Estel and Annabell Osborn, Michigan City, IN; 2 sisters and his brother-in-law, Cecily and Harold Shipman, Porterville, Dorothy Garrard, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.Private family graveside services were held Monday, June 22, 2009 at Prairie Cemetery, rural Robinson. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson was in charge of arrangements.
