Jim Sr. Cafin

Jim Cafin, Sr, 60, of Bridgeport, IL, formerly of Palestine, IL died at 11:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was born September 3, 1950 in Robinson, IL, the son of Albert D. Cafin and Reba Cole Cafin. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a former truck driver.Jim married Linda Hayes on June 6, 1969 and she survives. He is also survived by his 2 daughters, Christine Cafin Brady, Bridgeport, Misty Cafin, Noble; his son and daughter-in-law, James Jr. and Jessica Cafin, Sumner; 6 grandchildren, Cotey €œC. J.€ Wilken, Levi Wilken, Denver Wilken, Jesse Cafin, Wyatt Cafin, and Kalie Salyers.He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Charolett Cafin; and his son-in-law, John Dotson.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine with Rev. John Brand officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 28th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor€™s choice.
