Jim R. Haenig

Jim R. Haenig, 37, of West Union died at 4:20 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at his residence. He was born on April 2, 1974 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Glen R. Haenig and Wendy Decker Haenig. He was a laborer with the Illinois Local Laborers Union.He married Amy Higginbotham on July 8, 2000 and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, Garron R. Haenig, Grant A. Haenig and Grayson L. Haenig (West Union); one brother, Jesse Haenig (Peoria); his stepmother, Patty L. Haenig (Marshall); as well as several other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15th at the Marshall Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Haenig Children€™s College Fund, with envelopes available at the funeral home and cemetery.
