Jerry Nelson Poettker

Jerry Nelson Poettker, the two-month-old baby boy of Colt Poettker & Krystal (Wilson) Poettker, died on August 26, 2019. He was born June 5, 2019, and though Jerry was only with us for a little while, his memory will last in the hearts of his family for as long as they live. It has been said that life can be the same after a trinket has been lost, but never after the loss of a treasure. He is survived by his parents, Colt & Krystal Poettker (Annapolis, IL); by his big brothers, James and Cruz (Annapolis, IL); by his grandparents, Jim & Debbie Poettker (Robinson, IL) and Andrea & Victor Watson (Hutsonville, IL); by his great-grandparents, Karon Kargle, Mary & George Skupien, and Mary Ann Poettker; by his aunts & uncles, Jerry & Nicole Wilson (West Union, IL), Mandy Wilson (Hutsonville, IL), Mindi & Derek Sheets (Marshall, IL), Justin Watson (Flat Rock, IL), Mandie & Von Hilderbrand (Marshall, IL); as well as several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Tim Wilson; by his great-grandparents, Al Kargle, Maryann Kargle, James Poettker, Chuck Bolton, and Corkie Bolton. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Randy Nave officiating. Memorials may be made to the "Poettker Benefit Fund", with envelopes available at the funeral home. Donations will also be accepted at the CMH Rural Health Clinic-Suite 200 and at the First Robinson Savings Bank.
