Jeremy Correll, 48, of Robinson, IL, died on September 15, 2021, in the comfort of his home. He was born September 17, 1972, in Robinson, IL, the son of Jerry Wayne Correll & Cathy (Merrick) McKinney. Though he spent a few years elsewhere, Jeremy called Robinson "home" for most of his life. It was here he grew up, raised his family, made countless friends, and enjoyed the little things in life. He was always so fond of the outdoors and spent copious amounts of time boating at the lake, enjoying a cold one with those he loved most in this world. He enjoyed the freedom of the open road on top of his motorcycle and blazing new trails with a 4-wheeler. Back home, he kept up with the Pittsburgh Steelers and St. Louis Cardinals, which comes as no surprise, seeing as his wardrobe was saturated with Cardinal red and blue! He worked for a number of local businesses through the years, including Houser's Appliance Service. It was David Houser who invited him to take part in funeral details with the V.F.W. Honor Guard. Honoring the men and women who served our country was a distinct honor and privilege for Jeremy. Though he eventually found work with Toyota Bushuko, his health took a turn for the worse, and he spent most of the last season of his life fighting an uphill battle. But he didn't do it alone, as his family and friends were by his side every step of the way and were a constant source of strength and support for him. We could never forget Jeremy. Though he was known to be somewhat outspoken and more than a little overbearing at times, he had this gift that always brought the light out of people. We find comfort knowing that the light of his life will not fade, so long as we hold him in our memories and in our hearts. He married Rebecca (Clark) Wyatt on Friday, November 13, 2020, and she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Shane Tyler Stewart, Christopher Cain Correll, Mason Cole Correll, Cameron Michael Hardin, and Levi Earl Wyatt; by his granddaughter, Myah Elaine; by his mother, Cathy McKinney; by his siblings & their spouses, Brandy & Chip Selby, Jesse & Abby McKinney, Jamie & Drew Breuer; as well as numerous "adopted" kids, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. It was his wish to be cremated with no public services to follow. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
