Jennifer "Ninny" Decker, 44, of Robinson, IL, died unexpectedly on June 23, 2020, in the comfort of her home. She was born March 4, 1976, in Robinson, the daughter of Mark Wilson & Janet (Bennett) Caldwell, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Madison Halterman and Riki Decker (both of Robinson, IL); by her brother, Travis Wilson (Robinson, IL); by her nieces and nephew, Miranda Rae Wilson (Robinson, IL), Allison Kay Wilson (Robinson, IL), and Aiden Wilson (Robinson, IL); by her great-nephews and great-niece, Miles Carpenter, Jack Carpenter, and Geneva Gullett; and by her fiancé, Doug Fitts. Jenny grew up in the Robinson area and was a 1993 graduate of Robinson High School. She would eventually further her education at Vincennes Beauty College. Upon graduating in 2003, she put her newfound skills to work as a hairdresser and was a staple at Bennett's Barbershop for several years. She truly enjoyed her time in the shop and considered herself blessed to get to know her many regulars while working alongside some of her favorite people. Away from Bennett's, she was an active member of both the American Legion and Order of the Eastern Star. For a time, she also had the distinct pleasure of coaching her daughter Riki's softball team. No matter what it was she was doing, chances were, that delightful laugh of hers would be heard by those who had the good fortune to know her. We who are left behind will also remember her warm-heartedness as well as the boundless strength with which she carried herself, day-in and day-out. In short, Jenny Decker was beautiful, inside and out. It was Jennifer's wish to be cremated, with a private family graveside service to be held in the Robinson New Cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
