Janet Leona Dix

Janet Leona Dix, 72, of Overland Park, KS, died Tuesday morning, August 26, 2008 at her home. She was born February 4, 1936 in Robinson, the daughter of Artie and Zelpha (Sitzinger) Cowden. She was a registered nurse and was a member of Missouri Girls Town, the Robinson First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ and the Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, Overland Park, KS. Janet married Frank Dix on October 2, 1955 and he survives. She is also survived by her son, John F. Dix, Overland Park, KS.She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ann McCarter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 2nd, at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, to be followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
