Jane M. Jurcin

Jane M. Jurcin, 89, of West Union, IL, died at 8:14 p.m. (E.S.T.) Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born September 16, 1919 in York Township, IL, the daughter of Frank E. “Bud” Snyder and Cuerrena M. Marvin Snyder. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, West Union, IL. She married Joseph A. Jurcin in 1943 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1962. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and 1 brother, Donald E. Snyder.She is survived by her 2 daughters and her son-in-law, Mary Kay Jurcin, West Union, IL, Christine and Kip Hollowell, West Union; her niece, Terri Peel, Marshall; 2 great nephews, Shaun Woolard and Jared Peel, both of Marshall; and her great niece, Shannon Bastian, Princeton, IN.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union, IL with Pastor Billy Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or to the West Union First Baptist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at .
