Jake Isaac Rains, 6 days old, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Champaign, IL. He was born November 12, 2009 the son of Tim G. Rains and Jamie D. Rich Rains. Jake is survived by his parents; his brother, Samuel Isaiah Rains, Hutsonville; his paternal grandparents; Charles and Zelpha Rains, Robinson; his maternal grandparents; Phillip and Nancy Rich, Robinson and Jane and Bill Lewis, Oblong; his maternal great grandmother and her husband, Betty Siverly and Everett McCormick, Oblong; his aunts and uncles, Julia and Doug Daniels, Auburn, IL, Amy and John Rogers, Morton, IL, David and Carmen Rains, Robinson, Melissa and Chris Cupp, Oblong, Jessica and Matt Cooley, Robinson, Jennifer and Chad O’Dell, Robinson; and several cousins.Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Hutsonville Cemetery with Pastor Phil Boyd officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots with envelopes available at the funeral home.
