Jack Harlen Hires

Jack Harlen Hires, 50 of Robinson, IL, died at 10:49 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson of an apparent heart attack. He was born June 21, 1957 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Roy Harlen Hires and Rosa D. Orndorff Hires.He was an insulator with Gribbins Insulation for 6 years; a member of the Local #37 Insulators Union in Evansville; and a member of Trimble Bible Church.He is survived by his son, Jason Hires and his friend Candace Jones, Robinson; his 2 daughters, Kaycee Hires and her fianc, Trevor Anderson, Makanda, IL, and Kayla Hires, Terre Haute, IN; their mother, Karen Hires, Terre Haute, IN; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Kathy Hires, Robinson, Walter 'Bud' Hires and Karen Hires, Hardinville, and Billy Hires, West Union; his 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Mona Brown and Ray Beard, Merom, IN, Chris and Jim Dunlap, Hindsboro, IL, Karla Wilson and Kevin Meiring, West Union; 6 half sisters; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Julie Hitt, Robinson.He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Charles Hires; a half brother; and a half sister.Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 4th at 10:30 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor David Hyde in charge. Burial is in Restitution Cemetery, rural Casey. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
