Helen L. Loomis

Helen L. Loomis, 98 of Murray, KY, formerly of Marshall, IL died at her home on December 24, 2008. She was born December 5, 1910 in West Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Ernest and Mollie (Cooper) Evans. She was a registered nurse, having graduated from Illinois Masonic Hospital in 1932.She is survived by her daughter, Dana C. Chap and her husband Arthur of Murray, KY; her brother, Robley Dean Evans of Quincy, IL; and 2 nieces. Helen married Warren Loomis and he preceded her in death in 1961. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Glen Evans; and her sister, Dana Evans.Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29th at 10 a.m., at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union. Burial will be in the Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Mansfield, OH on December 30th.
