Helen L. Freeman

Helen L. Freeman, 80 of rural Oblong, IL, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville. She was born October 25, 1929 in rural Horace, IL the daughter of Bernard Holley and Mildred Bunnell Holley.She married Ron J. Freeman on October 8, 1950 and he survives. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Lorna Freeman, Marshall; 2 grandsons, Travis and Brent Freeman, Oklahoma City, OK; her brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Dorothy Holley, Marshall; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jean and Leo Woodyard, Paris; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Carroll Holley and her sister, Maxine Holley.Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21st at 10:30 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Pastor Dee Wolfe is in charge of services. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20th. Burial will be in the Hardinville Cemetery.
