Hazel Mae Tohill, 82 of Flat Rock, IL, died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, September 02, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born May 10, 1925 in Flat Rock, the daughter of Everett Weger and Faye Richey Weger. She was a homemaker, a member of the Flat Rock Quilter's Club, and had worked for Robinson Transformer Co. and Victor Dana Co. in production. She was a member of the South Union Church, rural Flat Rock.She married Edward Tohill on May 6, 1944 and he survives. She is also survived by two daughters and her son-in-law, Fayetta Wilber, rural Palestine and Sherry and James Schaefer, Evansville; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Wilber Brown and her husband, Mike Brown, Terre Haute, Karen Wilber, Indianapolis, Kevin Wilber, Flat Rock, and Libby Schaefer, Evansville; 2 great grandchildren, Josh and Britani Harvey, Terre Haute, IN; 1 niece and 1 nephew.She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lorene Ford; and her two brothers, Marshall and Kenneth Weger.Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 6th at the South Union Church, rural Flat Rock with Pastor Jack Cunningham in charge of services. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock and until 1 hour preceding the service on Thursday when she will be taken to the South Union Church for visitation and services. Memorials may be made to the South Union Church with envelopes available at the funeral home or at the church.
