Harriet Tuttle, 69, of Palestine died at 5:45 p.m. on March 27, 2011 at her home. She was born September 28, 1941 in Vincennes, IN, the daughter of George Lee Snow and Anna Pauline Huls Snow. She was a Home Health Caregiver for many years and was a 15-year member of the Palestine AmVets Post Women€™s Auxiliary and of the Flat Rock American Legion Women€™s Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking for her family as well as several crafts and was an avid gardener.She married Carl Tuttle on October 25, 1996, and he survives. She is also survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, J.D. Timms, Lawrenceville and Jeff & Carla Timms, Flat Rock; her daughter and son-in-law, Jana & Steven Halter, Palestine; her step-son, Daniel Ray Tuttle & Sherrie Tuttle, Atlanta, GA; her five grandchildren, Joe Haney, Brandon Timms, Ashley Timms, Decoda Halter, and Drew Halter; 3 step-grandchildren; her sister Ann Wordlow, Ponca City, OK; as well as several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Misner.There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30 at the Palestine Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Relay for Life.
