Ginger Dawn Dunlap

Ginger Dawn Dunlap, 51 of Robinson, IL, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion, IL. She was born June 30, 1959 in Vincennes, IN, the daughter of Donald L. Redman and Nedra Outcalt Redman.She was a Robinson High School Graduate in the class of 1977. She worked at Golden Rule Insurance Co. and Snap-On Tools. Ginger was a member of the Flat Rock Free Methodist Church, where she was organist, pianist, Board Member, former children and teen Sunday School Teacher, and was the Social Activities Director for the Church. She was also a €œStay at Home Mom€, the family travel planner, and wedding planner. She loved fishing, and watching various sports such as RHS, St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and the Illini Basketball games, and especially she loved her 2 dogs.Ginger married Ron Dunlap on June 24, 1978 and he survives. She is also survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-laws; Jeremy R. and Tahnee J. Dunlap, Robinson, Jamison L. and Melanie B. Dunlap, Terre Haute, IN, and Jordan L. Dunlap at home in Robinson; her mother, Nedra Redman, Robinson, her brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Julie Redman; her grandmother, Juanita Outcalt; her mother-in-law, Lucille Dunlap; 2 sisters-in-law and their spouses, Donna and John Hampton, and Brenda and Roger Creed; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Redman; her grandparents, Dale Outcalt and Wilson and Lucille Redman; her father-in-law, Robert Dunlap; and her brother-in-law, Darrell Dunlap.Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 8th at 10:00 a.m. at the Free Methodist Church in Robinson. Pastors Gene Beard and Todd Outcalt are in charge of services. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7th at the Church. Memorials may be made to the Haiti Food Relief Fund or to the Crawford County Relay for Life. Envelopes will be available at the church or from the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson who is in charge of arrangements.
