Geneva L. Crumrin, 87, of Marshall died at 5:47 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011. She was born December 27, 1923 in Clark County, the daughter of Vern R. Davison and Mary (Jackson) Davison. She was active in the Clark County Home Extension, the Clark County Farm Bureau, and a secretary for the Clark County Pork Producers for 21 years, and a Clark County 4H leader for several years. She was a 60-year member at the West Union American Legion Auxiliary.Geneva married Lyman F. Crumrin on July 26, 1944 and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Bob Simpson, Casey; her son and daughter-in-law, Jack & Nancy, Martinsville; her 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Daryn & Paula Crumrin, Decatur, AL, Karyn & Justin Paulsen, Marshall, Amy & Brandon Daugherty, West Union; four great-grandchildren, Allison, Elizabeth & Samantha Crumrin, Kaylee Daugherty; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernard & Jean Davison, Marshall, and Laymon & Sharon Davison, Marshall; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lucille Wernz, Robinson, Leda & Dale Crumrin, West Union; as well as several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 21 at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union, with Billy Ray Ulrey presiding over services. Burial will be in the Ohio Cemetery, rural West Union. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Clark County 4H Foundation or to the Ohio Cemetery, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
