Gary R. Benedetti

Gary R. Benedetti, 62 of Hutsonville, IL, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2:27 p.m. (E.S.T) at Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. of acute pneumonia. He was born September 9, 1946 in San Francisco, CA, the son of Remo Benedetti and Annabelle Allen Benedetti. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, and the Palestine Eagles Lodge. He worked for Petrinis Grocery in Greenbrae, CA for 32 years.He is survived by his wife, Debra (Post) whom he married on February 8, 2008. He is also survived by 4 daughters, Chrissy Murray, Reading, PA, Abby Gannon, Birmingham, England, Shannon, Los Angeles, CA, and Kimberly, Sacramento, CA; a son, Guy, Washington state; and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Karen, wife of Jerry Callaway of Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be conducted at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, Tuesday, June 9th at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to service time at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vince Laino will be officiating.
