Francis Medina

Francis Medina, 34, of Robinson, IL, died at 2:14 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Chicago, IL. She was born April 20, 1984 in Berwyn, IL, the daughter of Rito & Maria Medina. Upon moving to Crawford County in 1993, she started attending school in Robinson, and would eventually graduate from Robinson High School. Following her graduation, she began working at Lawrence Crawford, and loved the kids that she was able to meet working there. She loved children and was a proud Tia. Francis was a colorful, caring soul who filled the world around her with joy and light. She loved to dance, and was, by all accounts, infatuated with Hello Kitty. She was a selfless, giving person who was unafraid to step up to help others. Her family and friends could never forget the love and strength she showed every day. She is survived by her parents, Rito & Maria Medina (Robinson, IL); by her brothers & sisters-in-law, Ricky & Sofi Medina and Nick & Brittany Medina; by her nieces, Ellie Medina and Zooey Medina; as well as her grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Bella, her beloved dog. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31st at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 1st at the Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Robinson, with Reverend Father Flach officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
