Frances Gray, 83 of Robinson, IL, died at 12:57 a.m. Sunday, March 08, 2009 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center in Robinson. She was born July 12, 1925 in Drumright, OK, the daughter of Cecil Earl Bailey and Lola Irene (Alberson) Bailey. She was a homemaker and a retired U. S. Postal Clerk. Frances was a faithful member of the Robinson First United Methodist Church, a golfer, bridge player, and sports fan. Frances loved music and was a wonderful piano player. Her greatest claim to fame was her love and devotion to her family and home. She will be missed.She married Donald Richard Gray on June 28, 1945 and he survives. She is also survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and David Saad, Robinson, Mary Jane and Mike Parker, rural Robinson; 3 grandsons, Curtis Thom, Matthew and Wesley Parker and families; 6 great-grandchildren; her 6 sisters, Lola Doolen, Lillie (Ted) Phillips, Shirley Miller, all of Kinmundy, Millie Bassett (Charles) of Evansville, IN, Marie Sweeney of New Harmony, IN, and Patricia (Bob) Sagadine of Plainfield, IL, and her one brother, Gene (Nancy) Bailey, Salem, IL; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Robb, and two brothers, Bob Bailey and Lloyd Bailey.Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to service time at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral Home.
