Emery Charles Hoke, 53, of Robinson died at 11:19 a.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 4, 1957 in Palestine, the son of Bill Hoke and Margaret Caroline Ewing-Hoke. Emery worked at the pottery as a forklift operator and was a member of the Heartland Baptist Church in Hutsonville. He married Marilyn King on August 18, 1984 and she survives. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters and their spouses, Sharon McGovern of Joshua, TX, Joseph Wayne & Kay Hoke of Robinson, Jeanette Croy of Joshua, TX, Jeanne Pauley of Albion, IN, and Rev. W. Ed & Pat Hoke of Herrin; his mother and father-in-law, Elmer & Susie King of Dundas; his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Mix of Effingham and Betsy Miller of Oblong; his brothers and sisters-in-law, John & Becky King of Newton, Mike & Brenda King of Casey, and Matt & Sheila King of Greenup; two special nieces, Jennifer Patten of Tolono and Tonya King of Newton and well as several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Pastor Clinton Batchelor and Ronnie Crawford presiding over the services. Cremation will follow funeral services. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Heartland Baptist Church, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
