Elizabeth Ann Decker, 58 of rural Robinson, IL, died at her home at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 of cancer. She was born November 2, 1949 in Palestine, IL, the daughter of Ed Bahr and Kathleen Haungs Bahr.Ann was a homemaker, a member and former youth leader of the South Union Church, rural Flat Rock, a former Girl Scout Leader, and a cake decorator at her parent’s bakery. She attended the Indianapolis School of Business.She married Jerry Decker on May 4, 1968 and he survives. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Joni Decker, Oblong; her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Cpt. Joshua Richey, rural Robinson; 7 grandchildren; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and John Lemke, Olney, Mardell and Leroy Eagan, Bedford, IN, and Marjorie Bahr, Des Moines, Iowa; 2 brothers and sister-in-law, Edward and Shanna Bahr, Marshall, and William Bahr, Denver, CO; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Crystal White; and her brother, Arthur Ison.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 19th at the South Union Church, rural Flat Rock. Brother Jack Cunningham is in charge of services. Burial is in the Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation is one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Church. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the South Union Church or to the Lincolnland Hospice with envelopes at the church or mailed to Goodwine Funeral Home, P. O. Box 129, Palestine, IL 62451.
