Dylan R. "Ziggy" Ziegler

Dylan R. "Ziggy" Ziegler, 22, of Robinson, IL, died on April 18, 2022. He was born November 3, 1999, in Robinson, IL, the son of Robert & Jamie (Graves) Ziegler. He grew up in Robinson and was a 2018 graduate of RHS. For a number of years, he worked in the kitchen at Quail Creek Country Club before moving on to Sears, where he was working as an assistant manager.

Anyone who knew Dylan well could attest to the fact that he was devoted to a fault. If he liked you or loved you, he was all in! Though he could sometimes put on a rough exterior, his friends and family knew better! They could also speak to his love of music, especially metal. In fact, he learned his way around the guitar by playing along with the likes of Ozzy and Def Leppard.

Though Dylan Ziegler's song has ended, we are thankful that his melody lingers on in the hearts of his friends and family: his parents, Robert & Jamie Ziegler; his sister, Melinda Ziegler; his niece, Adelyn Mullins; his maternal grandparents, Ted & Connie Dunlap; by his paternal grandmother, Mary Reeves; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Ziegler.

A time of visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd, at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the "VFW Honor Guard", with envelopes available at the funeral home.
