Dorothy Moore

Dorothy Moore, 91, of Walnut Prairie, IL, died Monday, September 6, 2021, at Marshall Rehabilitation & Nursing, where she was a longtime resident. She was born January 15, 1930, in Hutsonville, IL, the daughter of Jenny (Virginia) & Claude Dix of Old York, IL. They both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two babies, James Wesley Beckwith and Charles William Moore; by her twin brother, Charles Dix; by her husband, Paul E. Moore; by two grandsons, Michael Eugene Bochenek and Max Elden Bochenek; and by her granddaughter, Faith Angelica Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lee & Vince Bowles; by her son, Paul E. Moore, Jr.; by her three beloved grandchildren, Kimberly & Virgil Hansen (Marshall, IL), Jheri Lauren Brown (Indianapolis, IN), and Joshua Wayne Brown (Salem, IN); and by five cherished great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9th at the Hutsonville Cemetery. During the service, family and friends will have the opportunity to share memories of Dorothy. Memorials may be made to "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital", with envelopes available at the cemetery. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.
