Dorothy L. BennettDorothy L. Bennett, 96, of Robinson died at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Home. She was born September 14, 1914 in Albany, KY, the daughter of William H. Albertson and Effie Jarvice Albertson. Dorothy was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed flowers.She married Robert Bennett on October 12, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Delpha Garrard; and 11 brothers and sisters. Dorothy is survived by her son, Hermon Johnson, Robinson; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Pastor Rick Catt officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 on Tuesday.
