Doris Elaine Kelley

Doris Elaine Kelley, 72, of West Union, IL, died Thursday evening, November 19, 2009 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born May 27, 1937 in Marshall, IL, the daughter of Ben Drummond and Thelma Lillian Bowen Drummond. She was a homemaker; she worked at TRW; and following a clerk at Blankenship Drug Store, Marshall. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, West Union, IL.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julia and James Hunt, North Riverside, IL; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sherry Frets, Terre Haute, IN; her step-daughter and her husband, Cindy and Rex Delp, West Union; her step-son and his wife, Bill and Marjorie Kelley, West York, IL; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her brother and his wife, Jim and Yvonne Drummond, Monroe, LA; her 3 sisters and her brother-in-law, Rosemary Pellum, Marshall, Betty and Robert Talbot, Ann Arbor, MI; and Jean Davis, Greenville, IN. She married James A. Kelley March 12, 1974 and he preceded her in death in November 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Don Drummond.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22nd at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union, IL with Pastor Don Russell officiating. Burial will be in the York Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21st at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of West Union or to the American Cancer Society.
