Donald Lane

Donald Lane, 62, formerly of Hutsonville, IL, died December 10, 2020, at The Waters of Covington in Covington, IN. He was born August 25, 1958 in Chicago, IL, the son of Dan Lane & Theodist (Fledger) Burnett, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Donald & Marlena Burnett (Beloit, WI); by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; by his siblings, Carolyn Burnett, Lamont Lane, Crystal Lane, Patricia Lane, Shallay Lane; and by his friend and caretaker, Rena Smith. Donald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1975-1978. We are humbled by the generosity of spirit that enabled him to take up the call of freedom for his fellow man. Donald will be laid to rest at Danville National Cemetery in Danville, IL. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
