David Tracy

David Tracy, 59, of Robinson died at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, July 4th, 2011 at his home. He was born December 31, 1951 in Robinson, the son of Lyle Tracy and Leatha Smith Tracy. He worked in production at Tempco for several years and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Robinson.On February 11, 2005, he married Geneva Spade, and she preceded him in death on January 17, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Dean, Jim, and LeRoy Tracy.He is survived by his son, Josh Tracy, Robinson; five daughters and sons-in-law, Tabatha & Fred Smith (Robinson), Rita & Paul Perrine (El Dorado, IL), Amanda Higgins (Robinson), Vonnetta & Dan Shipman (Flat Rock), and Samantha Lankston (Robinson); four step-sons and daughters-in-law, Tony & Tonya Spade (Robinson), Kelly Spade (Robinson), Joseph & Linda Spade (Bridgeport), and Christopher & Beth Spade (Newburgh, IN); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon & Helen Tracy (Oblong), Bob & Pat Tracy (Oblong), Don & Carol Tracy (Olney), Charles & Debbie Tracy (Olney), and Lloyd & Florence Tracy (Hardinville); four sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois Dunlap (Robinson), Norma & Jerry Watts (Robinson), Mary & Jimmy Westbrook (Tucker, GA), and Linda & Rick Pethtel (Palestine); as well as several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 7th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Pastor George Meese presiding over services. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
