David Lee Mikeworth

David Lee Mikeworth, 77, of Robinson, died at 11:29 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Doctors Nurses Rehabilitation Center in Salem. He was born June 25, 1934 in Robinson, the son of Joseph L. Mikeworth and Lola Parker Mikeworth. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958 as a medic. David retired from Hershey on May 31, 2000 after 25 years of service. He was also a member of B.P.O.E. 1188 Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge of Robinson, as well as the Mound Community Church.David married Loretta B. Lefler on April 13, 1998 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Ruth Benton (Robinson); his brother and sister-in-law, Vaughn & Yvonne Mikeworth (Crawfordville, FL); his sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna Sue & James Newlin (Rochester, IN), Becky Adams (Palestine, IL), Judy & John Krathwohl (Advance, IN), and Nana O€™Dell (Flat Rock, IL); three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, John Brang (Auburn, IN); his sisters-in-law, Ginny Mikeworth (Robinson, IL), Bernice Lewis (Newton, IL), Louise McCall (Olney, IL); as well as several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Fred Parker and Mr. & Mrs. David P. Mikeworth; his wife, Virginia (Barnbrook) Mikeworth; his wife, Barbara (Snow) Mikeworth; his brother, Rick Mikeworth; his sister, Sally Brang; four nephews; and a brother-in-law, Dick Adams.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23rd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Pastor George Meese officiating. Burial will at the Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
