David D. Venatta

David D. Venatta, 57 of Robinson, IL died unexpectedly at his home at 10:31 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008. He was born May 2, 1951 in Robinson, the son of Herman Venatta and Esther Quick Venatta. He had worked for E. H. Baare Co. for 31 years and was a member of the Palestine Eagles.He married Robin Crouch on July 17, 1990 and she preceded him in death on March 14, 1998. He was also preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Harold, Tom, Larry, Richard, and Ronnie Venatta and his sister, Betty Shonk.He is survived by 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Bridget Venatta, St. Louis, MO, Don and Nancy Venatta, Oblong, Ed and Mary Venatta, Arizona, and Leonard Venatta, Robinson; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Velma and Larry Richards, Phoenix, AZ, Barbara and Jim Rainwater, Oklahoma; 3 step daughters, and their husbands, Chastity and Tom Middleton, Flat Rock, Carmen Woods, Robinson, Sunday and John Stambaugh, Robinson; his step - son, Charles Brimberry, Bloomington, IN; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, January 3rd at the Robinson New Cemetery with Rev. Tom Akers in charge of services. Visitation will be from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 2nd at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson.
