Daniel L. Nidey

Daniel L. Nidey, 29, of Palestine, IL, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 6, 1980 in Robinson, IL, the son of Norm Nidey and Debra Hallowell Nidey. He was employed at Hershey for two years. He married Kristina Boyce February 19, 2005 and she survives. He is also survived by 3 sons, Curtis James Nidey, Terre Haute, IN, Caleb Lee Nidey and Jarrett Lee Nidey both of Palestine; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Jessica Nidey, Oblong, Richard and Cora Nidey, Palestine; his paternal grandmother, Geneva Nidey, Palestine; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Robin Boyce, Robinson; grandfather-in-law, Robert Price, Lawrenceville, grandfather-in-law and grandmother-in-law, George and Judie Griffin, Bridgeport; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Charline Nidey; and maternal grandparents, Elmer and Marie Hallowell.Visitation will be held at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Graveside services will follow at the Palestine Cemetery with Rev. John Brand officiating. Memorials may be made to the Nidey Children’s Education Fund at the Regions Bank in Palestine.
