Daisy Brown

Daisy Brown, 88 of Robinson, IL, died at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL early Saturday morning. She was born November 3, 1921 in Honeycreek Township, rural Flat Rock, the daughter of Elmer Weger and Zelma Goff Weger. She was a homemaker and had worked in production at L. S. Heath & Sons for over 35 years. She was a long time member of the New Hebron Baptist Church.She married Harold L. Brown in 1942 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 1995. She was also preceded by her parents; 3 brothers, Willard, James, and Dean Weger; 3 sisters, Eva Purcell, Gladys Smith, and Mary Jane Weger.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Peggy Brown, Mt. Zion, IL; her sister, Louis Wilt, Trimble, and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Brother Jack Clay in charge. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the New Hebron Baptist Church with envelopes at the funeral home.
