Daci Elizabeth Reynolds, 26, of Flat Rock, IL, went to her Lord and Savior Monday, December 3, 2018. Born July 24, 1992, she was the daughter of Randy and Pamela McCleave (Flat Rock, IL), who survive. She married Levi Dean Reynolds on February 16, 2013 and he survives. She was preceded in death by her brother Daniel Lee McCleave, her paternal grandparents, Hugh and Betty McCleave and maternal grandparents Bertha and Herschel Lemeron, and an uncle, William Shank. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Teresa Ann Reynolds (Robinson, IL), by uncles and aunts Gerry and Judy Shank (Lawrenceville, IL), Roger and Carol Smith (Flat Rock, IL), Betty Shank (Lawrenceville, IL), Terry and Pam McCleave (Washington, MO), Cindy and Mike Wooten (Memphis, TN), Angela Whittington (Jackson, MO), Nancy and Jack Deeter (Batavia, IL), Lynn McCleave (Flat Rock, IL), and several cousins. Daci attended New Hebron Christian School K-8, Robinson High School graduating in 2010 and Wabash Valley College where she graduated in 2012 with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked in various Daycare and Para-Professional positions until concentrating her efforts on becoming a mother which culminated in the birth of her son, Jace Dean Reynolds on November 5, 2018. As a result of her Salvation on November 21, 2000 and her Baptism by her pastor and friend, Bro. Dean West on December 24, 2000 she was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church, Flat Rock, IL where she served as a nursery worker, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher and worship leader. She had a sweet, beautiful voice, a fun-loving spirit, and was kind to everyone who knew her. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 on Thursday, December 6th at the Flat Rock First Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7th at the church with Pastor J.D. Branson officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. In honor of the child she and Levi sponsor themselves, memorials may be made to “Compassion International”, a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty. Memorial envelopes will be available at the church. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock is in charge of arrangements.
