Cleda Iris Rich

Cleda Iris Rich, 83, of Robinson, IL, formerly of Flat Rock, IL, died at 11:43 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL. She was born April 17, 1925 in Hardinville, IL, the daughter of Henry Shipman and Georgia Stogsdill Rich. She was a homemaker and a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Anna Circle.She married Ellis N. Rich February 1, 1957 and he preceded her in death August 27, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Megan Mullins; 2 brothers, Leon Shipman, and Henry Daniel Shipman; and her sister, Zelda Fayrene Shipman.She is survived by her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Fayrene and Fred Wright, Robinson, Teresa and Ron Mullins, Flat Rock, Loretta and Bill Whalen, Crawfordsville, IN; her 5 grandchildren, Jessica and Jake Wright, Robinson, Jenna & Heath Whalen, Crawfordsville, IN, Hunter Mullins, Flat Rock; her sister, Mary Ellshoff, Tulsa, OK; her brother, Lynn Shipman Merrillville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Pastors Shane Bopp and Glen Rosborough officiating. Burial will be in the Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, December 21st at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Robinson Food Pantry with envelopes available at the funeral home.
