Christopher Joe Utley, 40, of Flat Rock, IL, died at 11:42 p.m. (E.S.T.) Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born February 2, 1969 in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of Charles E. and Sue Thomlinson Utley. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth Utley, and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Delcie Thomlinson.He is survived by his parents, Charles & Sue Utley, Flat Rock; his son, Joseph Levi Utley, Robinson; 2 brothers and his sister-in-law, Michael Utley, Flat Rock, Brentley and Amanda Utley, Flat Rock; his sister, April Utley, Terre Haute, IN, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 with Roy Christine officiating at the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock. Memorials may be made to the family.
