Charles F. Sisil, 91 of rural Robinson, IL, died at 9:09 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2008 at his home. He was born September 29, 1916 in Lyons, IN, the son of Charles F. Sisil and Hattie Lenore Sisil. He worked for 27 years for Marathon in the maintenance department, was a member of the Robinson Church of the Nazerene, and loved camping, fishing and hay baling.He married Neva Mitchell in 1938 and she preceded him in death in 1997. He was also preceded by his parents; 2 grandchildren; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.He is survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Martha Sisil, Hardinville, Leonard and Rhea Sisil, Robinson, Wayne and Sharon Sisil, Robinson; his daughter and son-in-law, Charolette and Bert Croft, East Varnard, VT; 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services are to be Wednesday, February 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial is in the New Hebron Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 28th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice with envelopes at the funeral home.
