Charleen Ford

Charleen Ford, 86, of Murray, KY, formerly of Flat Rock, IL died at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Spring Creek Health Care, Murray, Kentucky. She was born February 20, 1922 in Scott County, MO, the daughter of Charles Jordon and Nora Chumbley Jordan. She was a retired school secretary of the Flat Rock Grade School and was a member of the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.She married John Price Ford on August 21, 1943 and he preceded her in death on February 16, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Virginia Karmann.She is survived by her son, J. C. Ford, Murray, KY; her sister-in-law, Frances Mullins, Kennewick, WA; and her niece, Jo Becker, Kennewich, WA.Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February, 23rd at the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock with Rev. Charles Anderson in charge of services. Visitation is from noon Saturday until 1:30 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock, prior to the graveside service.Memorials may be made to the Susie Wesley Memorial Library, PO Box 185, Flat Rock, IL 62427, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
