Catherine E. Johnson

Catherine E. Johnson, 58, of Robinson died at 7:55 a.m. on Saturday February 12, 2011 at her home after an extended illness. She was born on October 21, 1952 in LaPort, IN, the daughter of William H. Fancil and Lillian G. Hayes Fancil. She worked as a custodian at the Robinson Community Center for 14 years until retiring in 2003.She married Kelly W. Johnson on October 14, 1972, and he survives. She is also survived by her sons, Mike Johnson, Flat Rock, and John Johnson, Newton; three grandchildren, Clarence William Johnson and Blossom Riene Johnson, Newton and Brittany Johnson, Robinson; three brothers and his sister-in-law, Ralph Fancil, Willow Hill, Dave Fancil, Oblong, and Mike & Phyllis Fancil, Oblong; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy Shields, Oblong, Pam & Gary Goss, St. Marie, Tammy & Mike Thompson, Robinson, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jack Fancil.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine with Rev. John Brand officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15 at the funeral home.
