Carrie Polk Ament

Carrie Polk Ament, 83, of Evansville, IN, died April 6, 2007 at Deaconness Hospice Care Center, Evansville. She was born December 19, 1923 in Cooter, MO, the daughter of Chris and Marva (Polk) Wentzell. She was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church, Lawton, IA.She is survived by 3 children and their spouses, Tia and David Norman, Evansville, IN, William Allen Ament, Jr., Denver, Colorado, Marla and Jim Lane, Robinson; 3 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.She married William Allen Ament, and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Christopher O. Wentzell.Interment of ashes is pending at the Banner Township Cemetery, Lawton, IA. Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of the arrangements.
