Byrl L. Wesner

Byrl L. Wesner, 72, of Russellville, died at 6:53 p.m. on October 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1938 in Flat Rock, the son of Vern Wesner and Christine Utt Wesner. Byrl served in the U. S. Army in Germany. He retired from L. S. Heath as a cook in 1991 after 27 years of service. He was a member of the Flat Rock American Legion Post #132.Byrl married Lucille Bilskie and she survives. He is also survived by his 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay and Warren Rich, Flat Rock, Shirley and Vaughn Rich, Flat Rock; his brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Donna Wesner, Flat Rock; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Beverly Wesner.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 1st at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock with Rev. John Brand officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the combined units of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, Palestine AmVets Post #33, Robinson American Legion Post #69, and Flat Rock American Legion Post #132. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 1st at the funeral home preceding the services. Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor€™s choice.
