Bobbie E. Miller

Bobbie E. Miller, 92, of Carmel, Indiana passed peacefully on January 17, 2021. He was born May 15, 1928 in Flat Rock, Illinois to John and Etta Miller. Bob served in the U. S. Navy during WW II. He worked for Indiana Bell Telephone Company for 34 years. He loved visiting with his past coworkers and reminiscing about old times. He was a longtime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a past member of Kiwanis. Bob deeply loved his family. He and Elda enjoyed many years of wintering in the south in their Airstream. Bob is survived by his wife of 71 years, Elda Miller; children, Michael Miller (Lee Ann), Teresa McElmurry (Tom); grandchildren, Chad McElmurry (Angela), Travis McElmurry, Scott Miller (Kristin), Jessica Grivna (Mark); great grandchildren, Tia McElmurry, Kayla Fogarty (Matt), Jack Miller, Olivia Miller, Ella Grivna, Mason Grivna; and great great grandson, Elijah Fogarty. Also surviving are siblings, Patty Potter, Jack Miller, David Miller, and Susan Burtch. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. A graveside service with military honors was held in Flat Rock, Illinois and officiated by his brother, David Miller.
