Bill W. Adams, 84, of Robinson died Friday, March 26, 2010 at 4:30 a.m. at Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was born January 6, 1926 in Sullivan, IN, the son of James Herbert Adams and Effie Engels Adams. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Marathon in 1984, after 37 years of service. Bill married Ann Adams on November 14, 1947 and she preceded him in death on October 9, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and 7 brothers and sisters. Bill is survived by his son, Stephen Adams, Robinson; his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Julian Guyer, Annapolis, 8 grandchildren, Stephenie and Brad North, Robinson, Justin Guyer, Hutsonville, Kristen and Ken Morrison, Robinson, Joshua Guyer, Spencer, IN, Alicia Stephens and Kristel Wunderlin, Atlanta, GA, Alicia and Chris Rhodes, Robinson, Melissa Adams, Robinson, Stephen and Erica Adams, Cicero, IN; 9 great grandchildren; his sister, Pat Parsons, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.Memorial services for both Bill and Ann Adams will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Brother Steve Griswold in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 3rd at the funeral home preceding the services. Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots or to the Robinson Food Pantry with envelopes available at the funeral home.
