Beverly Jane Ramsey

Beverly Jane Ramsey, 77, of Pekin, IL, formerly of Palestine, IL, died at 4:24 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011. She was born March 20, 1934 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Herbert Ogborn and Marie Woodward Ogborn. Beverly worked for Bechtel Co. office. She was a member of the Hutsonville American Legion Post # 742 Auxiliary and the Palestine Eagles Lodge Auxillary. She spent her summers in Bigfork, MN on Ann Lake, and was a member and attended the Old Scenic Community Church in Bigfork, MN.Beverly married Ralph Samuel Ramsey on August 27, 1966 and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother in infancy; and her 2 great grandchildren.She is survived by her daughter, Marla Ramsey, Hutsonville; her 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin Ramsey, Palestine and Ralph Jr. and Jennifer Ramsey, Pekin; 5 grandchildren, Lisa Ramsey, Brad Ramsey, Nicholas Ramsey, Christopher Ramsey, Taylor Ramsey; and 4 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21st at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine with Rev. John Brand officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 20th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Old Scenic Community Church, 25747 County Rd 340, Bigfork, MN 56628 with envelopes available at the funeral home.
