Beverly A. Fritchie

Beverly Fritchie, 64, of Palestine, IL, died at 4:19 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at St. Mary€™s Hospital, Evansville, IN. She was born July 13, 1946 in LaMotte Township, Crawford County, IL, the daughter of Carl White and Ruth Baker White. She was a cashier at Wal-Mart for 24 years and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Beverly married Walt Fritchie on March 5, 1965 and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Brent Fritchie, Palestine; her daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Craig O€™Dell, Lawrenceville, IL; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Fritchie, Palestine, Carson Fritchie, Palestine, Mason O€™Dell, Lawrenceville, Carly O€™Dell, Lawrenceville; her brother, Bruce White, Palestine; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Bernetta and Marion Williamson, Robinson, Blanche and Paul McDaniel, Palestine, Betty and Ira Newlin, Palestine; and several nieces and nephews.There will be cremation with memorial services at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine, IL with Rev. John Brand officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21st at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Palestine Public Library.
